If you need medical attention outside of normal surgery hours the national '111' service is there to help you, or to direct your call to the right service

For out of hours emergency cover you need to ring 111.

If your problem is a medical emergency you should immediately ring 999.

Minor injuries Unit

This is located at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital and is open 09.00am to 17.00pm weekdays for minor accidents and injuries.  24 hour cover is available at the Accident & Emergency Department at St Richards Hospital, Chichester for more serious complaints.

Out of hours services are generally busy so please think carefully before asking to see a doctor and only do so if you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.

In a genuine emergency you should call 999.

Remember , chest pains and / or shortness of breath constitute an emergency.
